Modern Times, Inc. (formerly J Hernandez Consulting) provides consulting services on private and public sector projects.  We specialize in design, development, implementation and coordination of community programs that include Disadvantaged and Small Business Programs, Local/Targeted Hire and Community Relations programs. MTI believes in harnessing the strengths of diversity and technology to deliver better business results. We provide innovative solutions and dynamic approaches to help companies succeed nationwide. MTI develops and implements scalable systems and tools, tailored to meet our clients’ goals. Modern Times, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Joseph Hernandez who has managed complex and large-scale Community Programs for nearly two decades. A key member of MTI includes Alison Feldman, who brings over ten years of experience in Disadvantaged/Small Business compliance and Labor/Project Labor Agreement compliance. Our team also has extensive experience in the public and private sector arena.  Modern Times, Inc. is a certified small business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Based in Los Angeles, our team services large-scale projects throughout the United States.

We have used our experience working on projects nationwide to develop an exclusive online portal—Logger®—that allows clients to manage invoices and prompt payment for all subcontractors.
